We had an interview on Bay Radio about a month ago. It was great to do that but the problem with it is that, it's transient. The message has to be there permanently, for whenever someone needs it. I have an article coming out this Friday in the Costa Blanca News about all the things I asked Carlos Mazon last week. One of the other things that came up in the interview the need for a permanent entity focussed just on international residents needs. He agreed and said that he would create one along the lines of the one they created for the Diputación de Alicante. That site doesn't work very well but, at least a reference point, somewhere to point people to. As I'm writing this it ocurrs to me that if I give them a buzz they could put the MIT stuff on that site now, without waiting for the elections. I'm going to give them a buzz. Cheers for the idea!

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave that message and for persevering with the PE, I know it hasn't been an easy road.

One of the questions that comes up almost at every meeting is, what happpens if there's a change in government. Until last Thursday I didn't have a good answer for that. I organised a meeting, an interview with Carlos Mazon last week and I asked him directly about the issue. He assured me that not only would the MIT program continue he plans to make it even more agile, followiing the AFO reforms of 2019 in Andalucia. I wanted to transmit that message to you. There is now a general recognition from both the main political parties that this is a necessary path to tread and that a wrong needs to be corrected.

That's progress and it's due to the determination of people like you and those affected in Lliber over decades who refused to be just the victims in this story. It's my job to let those that follow your example know the debt they owe you and I intend to do exacrtly that.
