Hi all

I am writing to make sure everyone knows the AGM is on 12th Jan 2009. 

We have a community email address list , kept by Steve DeLooze, that keeps us all updated on the important issues at CSG, but at the moment there are lots of owners whose contact details we still do not have.  This is a valuable list as it enables us to try and sort out any grievances as a community, and to communicate with the Administrators & Developer in an organized way.  At the moment we only have 37% of the votes between all of the owners on the list and the Developer has 38% - meaning that we can do nothing without the Developers approval.   It is crucial that we present a united front at the next AGM and if you are unable to attend then please make contact with Steve or myself to arrange a proxy vote.  If you have not yet given your details to Steve, please send me a private message and I will pass them on to him.  We need at least your email address and preferable phone number and address also.

We were over in Monte Selwo up to 25th July and did our snagging then.  We weren't sure who to give/ send the snagging list to, as Damien was unfortunately not available, but had a stroke of luck in bumping into the Developer doing his rounds with his ( and our) bank Manager, who luckily spoke English and passed the list on for us.  He also got the water turned on as we did not have any for 3 days.

Apart from lack of water, the main problem was with the sliding doors which all stuck & didn't run properly, and scratches over most of the doors, and bathroom worktops.  we also had some deep scratches in the stairs, tiles covered in grout, and one or two other minor defects. I have emailed Ruth Crespo who has told us that the snagging has now been done, but unfortunately we have not been able to get over there since to check.

The swimming pools were empty of water and I'm not sure when they are going to be filled, and the lifts were not working yet.

Other than that all is fine!

We are in A205 which is your apartment?

Hi dth

We have had our satellite connected.  I phoned LGT and they arrived the following week.  They were very good and tuned it in for us.  We have a sky box with freeview, so get most UK chanels with no subscription.

Hi all

We've just got back from Calanova - pools are looking good and people are swimming in them.  Our solicitor tells us the licences wil be issued next week -she has seen them at the town hall.  We just need to make sure that when the gate locks are made more secure we have access to all of them to use the various pools & gardens, as all the gate keys are different.  It would be much better if there was one key to fit all.

Hi everyone

We have just got back from Spain when we visited Monte Selwo.  The development is looking fantastic, Phase 1 appears to be complete and Phase 11 has moved on tremendously since we were last here in Sept 07.  There have been even more trees planted and we were shown the site for the kids playground and padel court.  when the planting is more established and the pools clean etc it will look amazing,  Damien couldn't have been more helpful and was very keen to show us everything .  there are 3 families already living there permanently and we were delighted with our apartment.
