I know I have seen this before but didn't pay attention! So apologies for repetition.......

 

embarrassingly just oust tried to use the oven for the first time since bought in January..... Well it's been lots of salads, eating outs and Mercadona carrot cake! ..... Grandkids here and they wanted chicken nuggets (yuk!) .... Turned oven on and the fuse box tripped out....... Any known solutions anyone?

I bought it from the Chinese Store in Sabinillas a few doors down from Mercadona..... cost me 6 euros! :-) ... and the first code I entered for Trane worked.... so finally sorted. Ive since seen the same model on Ebay too.

Its a small unit with

"1000 in 1

Universal A/C Remote"

 

at the top and the 'make' appears to be "CHUNGHOP" which is capitals at thh bottom of the unit

The model number is: K-1028E ... which is displayed just under the LCD screen.

Hope that helps anyone else who has had the same problem.

.... thats drainy smell from the apartment not from the new owners! :-)

Anyone have similar problem of drainy smell in the bathrooms - usual bleaching etc has not improved things. responses from friends have included - "its Spain get used to it" to "I see what you mean!"

Have exactly the same problem after our move two weeks ago and very unhappy with situation..... and the office was only  just about helpful by suggesting we should buy a 'universal remote' from a hardware store! - I tried this and 25 euros later - it doesnt reognise the Trane model we have so was a waste of money and a lot of time going through 2000 codes !

Marco in sales Office says that there are some on order..... we are less than happy that this is the situation purchaseing a property with aircon / heating and no way of operating it and no-one seems to be bothered ..... has anyone found a universal remote that is universal enough to work our systems?

If you are looking to buy here at the moment - make a point of asking where the bloody remote is before handing over your money - maybe that will get it sorted!
