Yes, we did consider Luton, but I think we might try Birmingham to Almeria, again Monarch. I think Birmingham and Luton are a similar distance for us.

Hi everyone. generally, when we have visited Laguna Beach we have used Easyjet from Gatwick to Almeria. However, when we tried to book recently for March 2008, we discovered that Easyjet have stopped flying this route, for the winter at least. They still fly from Stansted, but that's not convenient for us, since we live in Hampshire. Does anyone know of any other carrier from Gatwick to Almeria?

We have flown to Malaga and Murcia in the past, but of course Almeria is far more convenient. Ian S

Hi

I agree that 1500 Euros sounds cheap. We have just paid 1900 Euros for 3 units, in our 2-beroom apartment including installation. This was arranged through our agents, Ocean Estates. We will find out what sort of a job they have made when we go out for the first time next week!

Hi everyone

Just discovered this site by chance, when looking at the kind of rental prices people are asking for Laguna Beach, so thought I'd say hello.

My wife and I have bought an apartment in block 8, complrted just a week or so ago, but are still waiting for the electricity and water to be connected. We are planning to come out to Spain at the end of January or early Feb for a week, to try to sort things out.

I notice some people have been asking about furniture - we can thoroughly recommend a shop if anyone is still looking. It's not in the immediate area, it's an hour or so away towards Murcia, but the lady who runs it was superb. If anyone wants the details, mail me direct and I will give you the details.

Maybe we will see some of you early next year.
