Hi

Thanks very much for the info. Feared the course could be detiorating but still hopefully we will get some rain soon and will help the course along. As you say its chicken and egg with the course and clubhouse. Someone needs to make a gamble and open the clubhouse because its the only way the area will generate an atmosphere and therefore encourage people to buy on the development.

Many Thanks

Hi All

Just wanted to get a quick update on the course? How are the greens following the disease they had in the summer? Also what is the condition of the rest of the course like?

I will be heading to Corvera on the 1st October for 5 days so if anyone fancys a game it would be nice.

This will be my first visit to Corvera since completing on my property so not sure what to expect when i get there. Are the pools clean and still of a swimable temerature?

Any tips for the area greatly appreciated

Many Thanks

Thought i would share some info i recieved from a contact today. Could be old news but could not see anying about it in recent threads. Could be good news for Corvera owners.

"Very good news, cross fingers hoping that will be done. I´m absolutely certain that are fantastic news for all people that invested in Murcia.

“The Chinese government and a variety of businesses from different sectors will be investing around 1 billion Euros for the development of a tourism, logistics and leisure centre in Murcia, Spain next year. The project is known as Special Zone of Chinese Investments and will include 2000 apartments, shopping and entertainment complexes, and educational facilities in addition to a theme park showcasing the Chinese cultural heritage.
The construction work on the project is expected to begin next year in the city of Lorca and likely to be completed in 2013 or 2014. The project has been made possible by negotiating with Chinese and Asian private initiatives for two years.

The logistics centre will showcase Chinese monuments and have eight themes including one on Chinese culture and history. Around 187,000 square meters of area would be given to Chinese business companies which will invest in ZEIC.

A commercial area where Chinese products and services will be provided is also part of the plan. The centre will also have a business training school and the leisure zone would have a casino, food services, entertainment services, a five star hotel and a golf course.
The ZEIC has been described as a ‘bridge between Spain and China’ by the Spanish government.”

Well i have re read my comments and dont considder the part you singled out the offensive bit. I stand by my comment

'"Mark my words Corvera will start legal proceedures against deposit payers that dont complete and they will win because the Spanish legal system will back the Spanish companies in an effort to kick start their economy"

because i think its true but in fairness my comment

"but now im started to get frustrated with all this so i hope Corvera wins back all the properties you non completers default on your deposits (that will really give you something to moan about)  and they get about selling these properties (even on the cheap i dont care)"

was a little offensive. (i would say "such venom" though was a little harsh)

But in truth it is out of frustration because the whole situation is stagnent and nothing is happening and i firmly believe the only way things will move forward (which will help my situation) is by selling the properties. I do think this is the best development in the area in terms of location and will be prosporus with developments such as the airport. It stands to reason that when the site can sustain a clubhouse then one will be built because it will make a profit.

I hope this will be a good investment in the future a slighly longer one than first anticipated
