Hi - we are in Block 10 Phase 4 and also told that the end of August was the deadline date for the habitation license.  We are flying out there today (2nd November) and will go down to see Nuria and also our lawyer - Nuria promised us that the licence would be granted by the end of August - then the end of September - then end of October - who can you believe !!!  Will update this thread when I get back with hopefully some good news.  We were told the reason was that because the roundabouts had not been completed that the Town Hall would not issue the habitation licence.  We were promised completion April 2007 so not too happy with the situation at the moment.

We have purchased in Block 10 ground floor and have now been told that Blocvk 10 will not be ready for hand over until the end of August 2008.  This will now be 18 months behind schedule.  Anyone else heard that this is the handover date?

Hi Martin - we are waiting for completion on block 10 but we are flying out there on Monday for six days so will go and have a look around to see how progress is going for ourselves.  I will contact you if you like when I get back to let you know any info on block 9.

Has anyone heard the latest for completion for Phase 4 Block 10.  We are now 10 months behind schedule and I know that some have been waiting a lot longer but it would be good to get some sort of completion so we can arrange mortgages etc. Would love to hear from any buyers in Phase 4 - Block 10.

Phase 4 Block 10 my latest update.  Spoke to Miguel Ant Moyano the only member of staff at the site office at Arenal Golf.  I got my solicitor to speak to him when we visited yesterday (2nd May) because of his limited English and the outcome was that Gerens (Cajasur) has taken possession on the 2nd April and is processing all the information so that they can take full control of the project.  They estimate that they need two months before they are in a position to continue the project.  The two month period should finish by early June so they will know more then about completion dates etc.  He was very helpful but could not say anything more forthcoming.  It looks as though Block 10 in Phase 4 will not be completed for quite a few months yet,  I have two telephone numbers 957 340 000 or 952 44 86 43 the only trouble is that Miguel is on his own and when I was in the office the phone was just ringing all the time.  Interested in other views,  Best wishes to everyone
