Following on from my last thread, we are now back from our all too brief sojourn to PP.

I must say, it was extremely quiet, most of the time. Not many people around, although there are several permanent residents in our block - 5. Also, lots of dogs in our block, but don't hear much from them.

Our main concern is that some dog owners cannot be bothered to walk out of the complex, turn right and exercise their dogs up the track! There is an owner of a small dog (I could tell by the size of the faeces!) who is not picking up their dog's poo from the pavement between block 4 & 5. Also, we saw another couple of residents walking their dogs round the perimeter of PP, without any sign of 'poop bags', so they could be doing it right under your windows - or ours! (The dogs, that is - not the owners!)

I shall be writing to P60, asking for a motion (pun!!) to be put forward that all dogs must be exercised off site, and permanent signs put up so that all dog-owner residents, whether temporary or permanent,

Apart from this, plus some tatty bits that P60 are trying to get the builders to come back and sort out (see last month's community minutes), we really like it there and wish we had more time (and money!) to make use of our 'investment'. We just hope that the outstanding hundreds of thousands of euros in community fees  can be claimed back and spent on finally making Princess Park the luxury development it nearly is.

That's good to hear. We are going out to PP on Tuesday for a week - haven't been for nearly 2 years, so  looking forward to it.  Just hope there are no noisy dogs or residents, as looking forward to some r & r!!

18 Apr 2008 9:49 PM:

I contacted Desiree at P60 (desiree.ruiz@p60.es) regarding the anti-social dogs, noise and the state of the entrance to PP. This was her reply:-
Yes, we have rules about noise and also dogs, but people do not care and if these are renters this is worst and they do not care at all. We have had a lot of problems with dogs because they go around free in the urbanization and the mess stay on the grass of the communal areas. This is dissgustin for other residents and the gardeners have problems to look for the gardens.

After last extraordinary meeting held on December, it was agreed that a technicall report will be done in order to include on this all the damage and the snagging for the urbanization. We have done it and we presented to the owners at last AGM held last month. Also, we have sent copies to the promoter, builders and architect in order to have all the problems sort out and the gate is including in this.
The reparation of the gate (or the installation of a new one due the circunstances and lack of quality) is not included in the annual Budget for the urbanization, so we can not support this extra cost up to date. Also, we have start legal actions to those owners that do not pay their fees on time.

We are doing all the legal procedure to obtain the better results to the urbanization, but with the recent building and the problems with the promoter we have extra problems in all the matters.
We ask for the patient of the owners and the progress will be see in this new year.
How can the rules be enforced? Any ideas anyone?

HAS ANYONE RECEIVED THE MINUTES OF THE LAST COMMUNITY MEETING, HELD IN MARCH?

SURELY THE DISGRACEFUL ENTRANCE WAS BROUGHT UP?

CAN WE INCLUDE, IN THE COMMUNITY CONSTITUTION, RULES & REGULATIONS FOR EXCESSIVE NOISE, CONTROL OF DOGS, AND ANY OTHER IDEAS TO PROMOTE A CLEAN, PEACEFUL ENVIRONMENT?

IF ANY COMMUNITY REPS READ THIS, PLEASE REPLY SO I CAN DISCUSS THESE IDEAS FURTHER.

BY THE WAY, I HAVE ALSO EMAILED P60, AS BOBBYSMITH SUGGESTED. I HOPE ALL WHO READ THIS DO TOO, AND IF YOU ARE IN CONTACT WITH OTHER RESIDENTS/OWNERS, PLEASE DO URGE THEM TO AS WELL.

10 Apr 2008 12:00 AM:

Has anyone in block 5 been having trouble with barking dogs?

We had rented out our apartment on a long-term let, only to just discover he's moved out - apparently due to "incessant barking from dogs either side" and "a noisy prostitute living above"!

We'd be interested to know if anyone else has suffered these problems in Block 5 or could it just be that he couldn't pay the rent?

Please let us know whether or not you've experienced the same problems.

Thank you.
