As owners on Corvera we went out for part of our recent school half term. Yes, the course is overgrown and there are isues to be sorted, but lets put out some positive messages. The location is stunning. Looking out towards the Mar Menor on a clear day under a blue sky is wonderful. Its not too hot at present so its possible to explore some of the towns, cities and mountains nearby using Corvera as a base.
We spent an incredible evening at Aguilas watching one of their fiesta processions; yes even in winter! We hadn't expected to be watching a procession for 3 hours but the colourful costumes, the dancing, the floats, (not forgetting the free sangria being handed out) and the vibrant music made for a wonderful time. You can tell 'Health and Safety' hasn't reached Spain with people jumping on and off the floats.
Miguel, who had the bar on site before the clubhouse, has opened a new bar at the stables and some of the bars in the village are being improved - so it is not all bad news.
Can't wait to be back at Easter for further fiestas. With the £ at 1.36 euros its getting cheaper by the day. H and JC
