Good to hear from someone else in the same position as myself.

The last I heard was that the bank would not release any more money to the developer until they had sold all of the properties and completed the Princess Park development at Calahonda.  The developer (Les Cumbres de Calahonda) has not gone bankrupt so there is still a small amount of hope that this development will eventually go ahead.  I hope so.

November 2008 - I'm just back from a visit to El Aljarafe.  Building has finally started there.  There is one show house which has external walls and should be finished by the end of the year, plus the main concrete structure of a semi-detached villa.  Nothing else started as yet, but hopefully things will accelerate....we shall see !  Send me a private mail if you want to see pictures or discuss further.

I'm buying here too and visited the site last November.  A long delay because of the licence and problems in Mijas, but hopefully it will be worth it in the end.  It's a great site with great views.  I'm hoping for a summer 2009 completion, but it's taking forever to get the hill terraced.
