Hello all

A while back I responded to a post on this forum about our site Getaway Earth. I'm not totally sure about whether the rules of this forum allow me to come back and talk directly about our site. If they don't allow it, then please take this thread down. If they do allow it, then we'd like to share what we hope are some exciting new developments...

First up remember that the first 1,000 properties to be listed will be free for life. We are nearing 500 at present.

Here's a very quick overview of the new features:

1. Owners can now control which towns/cities their properties are linked to (upto 5), in order for renters to find them.

2. Qwners can associate upto 5 "tourist destinations" to their listing, again searchable by renters.

3. We have a video page, in partnership with Trip Films. It's a menu option on our home page.

4. We have a blog page which we are inviting owners to collaborate on. We'd like you to blog about your rental and the are it's located in on our site - to tell renters what's great about it!

Hi Sarah

There is indeed a rental market but there are others on this forum who have far more in depth knowledge than we currently do on that area. We are just starting out and therefore have limited statistics through our site to properly answer your question.

You are more than welcome to list with us if you haven't already. The first 1,000 properties are free for life and the listing process normally takes 10-15 minutes if you have all the information to hand.
