Hi,

Does anyone know of somewhere we can buy a couple of basic bikes please? We're not thinking of donning lycra and training for the Tour de France or anything, just something to get around on whilst we're over at La Tercia.

We're over next week for a few days.

Hi Louise,

We've found DFS in San Javier to be really good. Though I suspect they're not as cheap as Ikea in Murcia, we bought several large items on one trip over which they hung onto then delivered - on time - the next time we could get across.

Not only that but they assembled them and took away our broken armchair too! We'll definitely be going back.

Regarding flights, we use 'Skyscanner' as it obviously varies when/where you're flying from etc... but Ryaniar into Alicante usually works out the best. The drive is obviously much further than from San Javier airport but there's a much better selection of flights and collecting hire cars etc.. seems more straightforward - up to now at least...

There are definitely apartments for rent on the development but I'm afraid I don't know the details - I'm sure you'll get one two replies / offers of rentals.
