Hi everyone,

I am hoping to conclude shortly and I am attempting to get a detail spreadsheet of all costs that I am going to occur from simple moving in to my property.

I am purchasing a one bedroom apartment and I hae listed below a few things I am assuming I will have costs for initially. I have also listed things I have been told (some strange!) will cost.

If anyone has an idea about where to go to get these costs specifically or can advise in any way it would be a great help. I have also emailed the developer so I will list what they say also as it may help answer other members questions in future.

I expect to have to pay for the itmes below but have no idea how much these will cost at present -

Gas/Elec and general utilities turn on

Snagging Company checks

Local Keyholder Costs

Air Con turn on ( I already have Air Con installed but Im sure they will charge you for turning it on)

Buildings and Contents Insurance

 

I have also been told that there is costs I would never expect however this person didnt seem to want to expand on this.  Can anyone shed any light on these unexpected costs. Is it correct that there is a charge for recieving the keys from the developer?

 

I appreciate any help that anyone could provide on this matter.

Spondonites, This is exactly what I have been hearing from a couple of different sources. I am really concerned about this also as mine was 230000 euros 2 years ago when I bought it. How long ago did you buy yours?

Hi everybody,

To those who have now moved in or pending, have you any word about the community upkeep rates for Porto Fino? I assume there is going to be a charge for the up keep of the pools and communal areas? I would be really keen to see what this is going to be as my solicitor is waiting on confirmation from Pro-Indal.

Further to this, anybody have any idea as to what the average monthly utilities bill will be like? I guess that will include wate, electricity, gas etc. The usual that we pay for at home.
