 If your Community insurance covers events such as flooding, earth tremors and subsidence, then you are very lucky.

I would suggest you check your policies though. Normally, these events are covered by the government, not Insurance Companies.

Check the wording on your policy.

I am more than happy to stand corrected if I´m wrong.

 For the first ten years, your Building Insurance is covered under the Builders´Guarantee. This is standard throughout Europe.

You only need to cover your contents.

First obtain residencia, which will also generate an NIE number.

Second, register with you nearest Assesor as "Autonomo" (self employed status).

Third, get insurance for Public Liability.

And finally, ask at your local town hall (probably Alhama in your case) about what local licence you need to operate in your chosen field.
