The thought of individual pools being open to anyone anywhere on Roda fills me with horror. I still haven't recovered from the sight of Mr Phase 1 and family, complete with bikes and family effects, descending on our pool before our Communidad had been formed. Also I have a big enough problem dealing with some of the loud apartment renters who have access to our communal pool without importing them from other phases. Holiday renters who take over the pool with their ball games while others are attempting to swim seem to be a permanent feature particularly during the summer months. As for villas having access to the pool? God forbid. Some of the villas have eight or ten people renting at a time. Multiply that by eight villas or so and your pool is dominated by villa renters. I am afraid I am with Debbie on this one.

Sorry folks I meant to say the road between the bridge and the Consum junction although the roundabout at The Arches could also be doing with a clean up.

Am I the only Roda Golf owner who is disgusted at the litter lying along the sides of the road between the bridge and the roundabout at The Arches? You can hardly see the plants for rubbish. This is the main access to Roda and it is shocking. The rest of the area, for example, the main roads seem to be kept clean but the road to Roda seems to be neglected. I know times are hard but considering the amount of local tax Roda Golf pays to the area I should have thought that the resort deserved a bit of attention. I think it is time for those running Roda to have word with the local council.

Some of you folks make me so angry.  No one forced you to buy on Roda.  It was a personal decision and as such you stood to either succeed or fail.  Had the economy thrived then you would be quids in but the world economy took a dive and unfortunately you paid the price.  Why is it everyone and everything's fault but your own?  This is the price you pay for investment.  It comes with no cast iron guarantees.  Now that things have turned sour according to you Roda and the area is everything that is bad.  The economic crash was not some dire conspiracy by Roda intended to drive you to bankruptcy.  To Hugh Man whom I think was referring to me and others when he said we had our heads in the sand I would say that I have probably been a property investor for longer than you and, having experience of buying foreign property, I have learned that things go through phases and if you hold your nerve things often improve. Publicly running down a resort where you own is self-defeating.  It often takes years to get home owner's associations to become effective and turn your resort into the kind of place you hoped it would be.

Sorry folks, a slip of the keyboard, I of course meant to say " for which there is NO demand".  A hotel for which there is no demand is commercial suicide.
