As I was clearing out all the urgent messages from Eroski in my letter box, I came across what I subsequently discovered was a local council bill for rubbish collection for the first quarter of 2009 - for 31,99 euros (refers to the large roadside bins on the estate).  Attached to it is a slip for standing order payment.  It appears to an authentic document.

The most alarming thing about this is the deadline - 6 June 2009.  Apologies if this ground has already been covered in the forum, but I thought all owners should be aware of this, as many (like me) thought all the bill payments would be regularised when we became established communities.  I would anticipate many would have assumed the boxes were full of nothing but junk-mail, and some possibly don't even have the letter box key, so I'm sure Pulpi will have many bills unpaid by the stated deadline.
