Hi all

The good news..!

We came back from a long weekend last week Jan 15-18th. On Sunday I played the course in glorious sunshine with Bob & Pat from Kent and Tom from Denmark at the 30 euro 'twilight offer'. We all went back with partners to the bar for pints at 2.50 euro a pop during happy hour and went next door for a decent meal (thanks Tom!!). Whats not to like about this ?

For the record, the course is great - very playable with good tricky greens. Its beautifully presented with some lovely views across the mountains and lakes. We played off the yellow tees - its not a monster by any means but as the greens are so well protected and undulating the approach shots are the key to success. Will definitely tee it up on the back tees next time. I'm a 4-handicapper from a generally windswept links course in Dublin and I would highly recommend it as a test of golf ... cant wait to get out again around Easter.

I'm going with my better half but she'd rather shave her eyeballs than sit in a buggy watching me for four hours!

I'm in NARANJOS 4 N315 - have just been notified about the rain carnage!

Would appreciate whether anyone has any update on N4 - I dont have a keyholder (other than PW) so would appreciate anyone there maybe having a quick look. we're arriving 21st October with the family but would prefer get out in advance if at all possible if things look bad.

Hi

I'm 40 and play off 4 in a very windy Irish course called the Island. Really looking forward to the challenge at CdeA. Like everyone else, I've walked it a few times and reckon it will be a really tough test off the back tees. The rest of the family have no interest whatsoever so I''ll be delighted to hook up with others for a game at some stage.

I'm in Naranjos 4 and will be out next over an extended October Bank holiday weekend.Maybe we should put a timesheet together for a game around then and throw a few quid into a kitty?
