Has anyone else had problems gaining access in to Block 6 through the main Portal Door?

We visited last week and had extreme difficulty operating the lock with both the original key  given to us by Proindal and a duplicate which we had made months ago at Copo.My wife was locked out twice and had to be let in by other people.

On our last visit a few weeks ago there were no problems.

If others have had a problem is anything being done to solve the problem?

I have suggested to the Community Manager that the pool opening times should be extended to cover March and October.At present I believe opening is officially May to September.

The issue will be discussed at a Community meeting sometime in the new year .

If you have any particular views on the subject they should be made known to the Community manager soon.

We completed on our Apartment in Block 6 prior to Proindal offering incentives.
Predictably we feel a little cheated especially having paid full price for a parking space.

Has anyone been able to negotiate  with Proindal post completion  to secure a parking space or upgrade to a lock up store or even better to secure a refund on the parking space cost?

Setting the above issue aside we are delighted with our apartment and do not regret completing.We do not see it as a short term venture and think it will be necessary to hold on for a few years before the markets stabilse and property values start to rise again.

We still believe Almerimar to be a good place to have bought in to.

We will just have to spend our holiday time in Spain for the immediate future!!
