We bought off plan in March 2004, with a verbal indication that completion would be around summer 2006. Our contract states that we could withdraw if the property was not ready by December 2006. As there were no signs of completion by the end of December, we decided to buy elsewhere in the knowldge that Polaris Word would refund our deposits as per the agreement.  However, PW are refusing to refund our money saying that the property was ready (!), despite there being no notification to us or my lawyer to this effect.

We are having take legal action to recover our monies. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
