Hello to all fellow owners.

Yesterday we received a letter from Brisamar Cuatro SL who are responsible for the rental agreements, (you may or may not have received the same letter?) Basically the company has pulled out of the rental contract and declined to pay all back monies owed to owners.  We are in the sorry state of not having a furniture pack so are left with an empty apartment, which we cannot rent until we find a). a long term renter who has own furniture or b) find monies to put a pack in ourselves.

I know that some of you will be in the same situation as us.  Our initial thoughts are that we will put furniture in but wonder how many of you would wish to attempt to get a bulk owner discount from a furniture supplier?

In order to discuss confidentially our options regarding any legal action, we are considering setting up a google group account which could then only be accessed by approved members from LP.

I would like to get in touch with the president of LP committee .   Does anyone have up to date contact details for him please??

If you consider the google group would be beneficial please contact us via eyeonspain  in the first instance

Regards for now

Kevin and Chriss

We completed on our apartment last November (2007), Block 3.  We have a 3 year rental agreement, but although we have submitted 2 invoices covering the last 6 months we still have received no rental money from Rushcliffe.  Claire from their offices confirmed they have a cash-flow problem, but that they should be in a position to clear the back payments by the end of September.  She advised us not to put the furniture in the apartment as long term renters may wish to bring their own furniture.  So in effect the apartment stands empty, they have found no renters, we cannot even stay in our apartment because there is no furniture and we cannot rent it to family and friends.  On top of all this we have mortgage payments and community charges to meet which are becoming a struggle without any rental money coming in.  Reading between the lines we don't think Rushcliffe even have enough funds to buy the furniture package, valued at 20,000 Euros which was offered as part of the purchase price.   We are keeping our Spanish solicitor in the loop with any correspondence but would welcome comments from any other owners who are experiencing the same problems with Rushcliffe, or any who have been successful in obtaining the rental monies owed and how they did it !!

Thanks
Chriss H

Does anyone know when the Habitation Licence was granted on this development, and has it been obtained on all blocks?

Thanks

Chriss
