Hi all residents of R7

Just been to La Finca for the Summer Break. Have been out several times before but not at times warm enough to use the pool though. 
Anyway whilst we were there we noticed the red tiles around the pool are very very slippy when wet. This has resulted in several adults and children having nasty falls. One particularly nasty incident last week when an elderly gentleman who was sitting bathing his feet went to stand up and took a nasty tumble. 
                      Need to be aware of this folks and if we are letting anyone use our properties I respectfully suggest they be told to walk along the white edging when leaving the pool.

Hi all

Just returned from La Finca last few days.       

Baybrooks Still suffering fom the "manana" syndrome with the gas connection. Johnsons Supermarket  is open though.

The little Satellite Police stations have been built at the front entrance and at the back entrance to Algorfa. Told by a member of Quara there will be cctv monitoring off all traffic entering the urbanisation and the police stations will be manned at all times............????   Have yet to recieve a written reply to my e-mail asking for clarification on this one,

The course looks magnificent . Hotel is ahead of schedule and the clubhouse looks very impressive.

Letters have been sent out to anyone using a mortgage to contact their solicitors about completing on their properties on R7.      I recieved mine this morning by registered mail dated 29th June.

Seems like there are a good many Folks in the same dilemma as ourselves (awaiting completion on R7) I'm new to the forum but may I respectfully suggest if we went as a group to Quara could we improve the situation. How could we collect the e-mails of all concerned assuming they were in agreement of course. Any suggestions anyone.

Hi All

Just thought somebody out there could enlighten me as to the delays on R7. The building has been ready now for five to six months. Q.S.D. the agents are giving me a spiel about the builder not having his "declaration of new build" paperwork ready yet thus holding the completion of the sale of our apartment.

What actually happens with this "declaration of new build" or what is it ? Who generates it and what route does it travel through officialdom ?   Are others having similar problems ? Our apartment was originally scheduled for completion Sept 06. But we are currently being frustrated no end by Q.S.D's lack of comunication. With the exception of one or two people there (who have no real clout anyway) they dont seem interested in trying to expedite the situation. Is this a fair assesment of Q.S.D in general or are all sales agents the same ? 

Any assistance via advice or comments would be greatly appreciated. We are quite worried with all this planning permission / land grab acts going on. Does anyone know individuals in the same situation ? Are my retirement plans in trouble ?
