Hello All,
I'm currently in the process of getting finance sorted in order to move into block 2 hopefully by the end of the month. We've had Roy Howitt from Inspecta Home Spain in to do an initial snagging report and he's picked up on a few things that seem like a good idea and that we'd like to get done.
So I guess we're after contact numbers for somebody(s) that we can get in in order to get all this done. Therefore, I wonder if any of you would be able to help, have some advice or opinions on the following please:
- Fitting Smoke Detectors
- Purge Protection for the electrics (to safeguard the tv, dvd, etc)
- Getting English TV (free view box or similar?)
- Getting all the locks changed
- Getting a door chain fitted
- Fitting an Extractor Fan in the bathroom (as there are no windows)
- Getting a decent Safe fitted
- Door stops all round
- Getting and fitting a Fire Extinguisher and Blanket
Another issue that I imagine people are familiar with are Grills on the ground floor apartments. We were originally told (and have an email to back this up) that they would be fitted as a matter of course. To date this issue is still outstanding with nobody being able to decide what's going to happen. We would definitely like to get them fitted - does anybody have a view on this or know what's going on?
We'll also need to buy some bits and bobs to kit the place out. We have the standard pine wood furniture package but appreciate we'll need to buy a fair but more whilst there. So if anyone could point us in the right direction or help for things like bedding, kitchen utensils/pots, electrical goods (tv, dvd, etc), wardrobes (don't think these are included), etc - that would be great.
