Staffs police said to me they are collating all complaints and providing crime reference nos. The investigation will then be dealt with by Fraud Squad in London. Staffs police said do not worry if you don't hear anything for a while (well, I have been waiting 5 years all told, so I guess another few weeks/months won't make much difference -EXCEPT for mortgage payments of course!!). This is going to be a lengthy and time consuming investigation.
