Hi John

I have a place on MCC and transferred from Almanzora 2 years ago now. I fully understand everyones stress who still have there money tied into ACC and acknowledge that Huma are not in a good financial position. However I do not feel you posting this copy of happenings at MCC helps peoples stress as this posting was from approx 2 months ago and is indeed one persons opinion and not the general feeling of all who own on MCC. It makes not very good reading and does not reflect life on MCC. Yes there are problems and yes Huma may go bust but its all if and buts. I hope they survive going bankrupt and are allowed to finish ACC after obtaining planning permission but even if building commenced now would everyone be happy sending the rest of there monies to Spain at 1.05 where as when ACC collected all deposits in 2005 it was 1.45 or more. i think they are in a no win situation.

MCC is a nice urbanisation and if Huma start building more properties here then consider transferring as I have no regrets.

I just wanted to show that Mojacar beach was further away than people think.  Also getting along the beach stretch in August is a complete nightmare we went down there, never again you just crawl along at a snails pace. If I were buying on OCC then I would look for a beach closer to home.

Seems like everyone is now transferring over to OCC, I wonder how many people are left hanging onto ACC?

I have been looking on the RAC Route Planner website and the official distance from Mojacar to Tabernas is as follows:

65.02 miles

104.6 km

Estimated time of journey 1 hour 24 mins

1 hour 17 mins if you are lucky with traffic

and 1 hour 34 mins if you are unlucky with traffic.

Have a look for yourselves on the RAC website.  I hope this is of help to people.

Well said Rowlandsbb,

I am glad to see that some people are posting positive remarks about Huma. 

We bought on ACC and only had part guarantess we decided to move to MCC which now we are really glad we did.  We found HUMA really efficient and no problem to deal with we signed a cancellation contract and a new contract last March 2007. We got the keys Oct 2007 and we love it. Even if ACC got the go ahead I dont think it would have been right for us now, we now see ourselves living on MCC where we didnt on ACC.

We decided to move on and buy on MCC and all the stress disappeared literally overnight!
