oh...possibly a bit harsh as some of the dogs may actually be owned by residents living nearby who just let them out to roam (and if that's the case then the owners should be shot)..... is someone feeding them at the bins at block 20? why on earth are they gathering there, normally for food .... or good hunting ground for cats? ADANA could possibly help with trapping but not sure about re-homing them as they are full up and cannot take any more dogs. Really not sure of the solution here, if residents have domestic dogs on DV they will not be happy if there is any risk of them being trapped/shot etc. and as an animal lover I would have to say that killing them is the last resort, i do not support any animal being culled unless it is proved dangerous (and any time I have gone near any of the dogs they have run off as they seem to be terrified of humans)....really stumped and have no solution for this situation, sorry :(

Hi Steve
I wonder if that's what happened to that poor little cat that was on the pathway...mind you dogs probably would have ripped it apart so more likely it was hit by a car.
think they are also being fed on the wasteground round by casitas - pehaps we should put a note next to the food asking whoever is feeding them to catch and re-home them or at least neuter them before more puppies arrive!

And the gang of wild dogs is getting bigger.....last night they were running around the streets and the golf course, I counted around a dozen barking and causing havoc, not to mention the dog mess. I believe some people are feeding them round by Duquesa Fairways (I could be wrong so apologies if I am) also manilva animal resuce were trying to catch some recently but I think have given up? Quite a few kittens have gone missing in the duquesa area recently so I fear the worst. Can anything be done about the dogs as they do sound quite fierce and probably only a matter of time before they bite someone (probably me as I roam the streets searching for my cats....)

Hello
Just had a call from another resident who has said that a cat matching description was seen at the bins just up from Block 20, i have put up several posters around DV with photos (at the bins on the first roundabout, and at Blocks 4, 11, 18, 19 & 20) but if anyone is reading this post can you please spread the word? I really want to find my cats and i am sure they are moving around DV searching for food and I can't bear he thought that they are desperate and hungry.
thanks very much
Laura
