I hear that one of the lawyers who has helped many of the current 15 owners to complete may have a link to the Bank and ultimately Rushcliffe to enable deposit holders to complete. If you're interested her name is Elizabeth McGrenra (yes a Brit ,with a Spanish husband) and her outfit is called McGrenra & Gonzalez Legal Consulting S.C. , phone number is + 34 96.574.89.65 and to e-mail her you send a  mail to Elizabeth  and she's @ mglegalconsulting with the ususal dot com at the end ( sorry had to lay out her address this way to get te thread up on the forum) . No news on the Bank taking any action to sieze Rushcliffe's unsold apartments yet, but with all the other stuff going on around the regional banks in Spain at the moment its only a matter of time before something has to give, so worth a try if you want to get your little bit of Spain locked up before it gets messy.

Community thread: New hope for deposit holders

So I see "relaim your deposiut, com" is on the scene, but of course we all know its the sales guy who used to work for Rushcliffe don't we. Good old honest Daren Wallbank who was telling deposit holders all was good with Rushcliffe right up to the end. So wheee has he found the cash to mount this operation then ? Or is he still fronting for his old boss Ray Ingleby , he who owns/ed Ruschliffe.

Also on the scene is Gustavo , who project managed the development using his operation, Arylan Project Management to try the same thing as Daren - to replace the deposit holder and get an apartment on the cheap. Where ha she suddenly found the cash too?

I don't believe either of them are working for or withg the Community, only for themeslkeves as always. Latest news I have is the bank are well on the road to taking their pound of flesh from Rushcliffe so if I was a deposit holder I'd get the deposit insurer to speak with Cajamar to register my claim.

So things are starting to look good at JdeM.
The gardens are well settled the outside pools are in great shape. The 15 owners who made it through the Completion before Rushcliffe disappeared are doing a great job in keeping the site open and are all using it very regularly and more so as we move to the better summer weather.
One downside seems to be that the Bank has not moved to take over the Rushcliffe debt yet which is a concern for the 64 part-owners who bought off-plan with a deposit and cannot now complete. What these part-owners need to do is get to the Bank as a group and let then know they want to complete so that the Bank takes action.
