I bought Penthouse A in Block 5 off plan in Dec. 2002. I have subsequently "sold" it in as much as a deposit of  25,000 euros was paid by the new buyer in Jan. 2006, but we have not moved on since then. The new buyer is out of pocket to the tune of 25,000, and I am out of pocket to the tune of more than 16,000 euros which is due upon completion. To further compound the situation, it is not clear who currently owns the penthouse; me or the new buyer. I have never known who the buyer is...this was information that Palmera would not supply. I would be interested to know if there is anybody on this forum who has, or thinks they have any connection with Penthouse A in Block 5 on Mirador de Torreblanca.

Any idea what happens now that Gwilym has left CDSAG on bad terms? Have we lost some more money...that'd be about right!!!

Does anybody have any idea what will happen now that the CDSAG has a problem? Gwilym having left on bad terms implies that the info. about Palmera and the court case goes with him. Have we all paid to join this action group in vain?

I've thrown my lot in with CDSAG, as flying solo doesn't seem to have any effect. I visited Palmera's office in Benalmedina in October, and it was practically deserted. Anita was there, and seemed to be dealing with nothing other than phone calls and personal visits from angry and disgruntled customers.  No sign of the big Dutchman of course. There is no sales team any more...they've probably all moved on to Morocco to find the next lot of gullible Brits. I have every confidence that CDSAG is the best route to take...they are excellent at relaying information and keeping people "in the loop" Good luck everybody.

Like all the rest of you, I've reached the end of my rope with Palmera. It's difficult to know whether to join in with one of the class actions already up and running against Palmera, or to sit tight and wait for the situation to unravel. The BIG question for me is whether Palmera are fraudsters or whether they are genuinely caught up in the builder's mess. I paid a deposit of approx. 37,000 euros over three years ago and have only just been made aware by Palmera that I can ask for a full refund. Whether I get it or not remains to be seen! The court action against Palmera that I am aware of is being led by the Costa del Sol action group (www.costa-action.co.uk) I have spoken to Mr. Rhys-Jones, who heads up this company, and he seems to have an abundance of evidence to indicate that Palmera are indeed crooks. I also have a property at Mirador de Torreblanca, which I bought off plan and have sold...inasmuch as the purchaser has paid a 25,000 euro deposit, which I have banked. The development has hit a snag, and we cannot complete, but at least I have recovered part of my original costs. Needless to say, I will have made a  loss on this deal, as it has not made any profit in over three years.
