This is not the name i have may be the bank own them now ! Were looking as i say to package a deal and maybe take a few shops as well put a subway on there or a nice asian takeaway etc

Sorry for the late reply i been kinda busy ! tx for your valuable info its much appreciated.

Form what i have found out is that all the town houses have been sold and i have seen quite a few to rent ?

Im lookin to take on the development and get it finished and get it up and running but im working on a big finance package at the moment with the develper who i believe is no longer around and hence get the properties at the right money with a view to sell in 3 yrs time and make some money back.

I have heard so many mixed stories but i will be out there very soon to chk the whole site etc and look to make final plans in the new year !

Hi guys

Just found this forum so i had to sign up.

Just been reading all your post re La Galera.

I have reason to belive there are approx 40 2 bed apts in phase 2 and 3 left and not sold, i am looking to purchase on the complex, and after reading all your posts this is pretty normal for spain.

I lived and worked in Estepona and have many close friends there since 2004 so i have seen all the happenings that have gone on etc.

My freinds live on a purpose built villa in Valle Romano so they have landed on a gold mine as they have been there since 2002 along with other families so they are looking to cash in very soon once the economy gets better !

La Galera is it a nice complex as i have only see photos ?

I am travelling over to Spain next week to take a look at the complex with the view to purchase all 40 apartments [if poss] and then really make the most of the weak econonmy and offer cheap holidays or maybe even time share, do you think this complex would live up to high end expectations ? or is it just like the rest of spain ?

Also i notice you guys having a good whinge abt rubbish etc this is just spain and thats how life is ! i have been used to that since 2004  ! but until the complex is full they never do anything about it as they dont have to and also when they know there are many british people on site then dont expect miracles as were always at the back of the queue !

Is there a comittee or anything for this site ? also does anyone have any idea of service charges ?

I also thought that the wealth tax was not applicable if you lived there even as a holiday home ? if you have a nie number there are ways around that !

Please get back to me with any pics or updates that you may have as this would be appreciated.
