Thanks all for the replies!

We are still undecided - somehow coming from busy old Greater Manchester area the Murica Casino night doesn't appeal to us as we are looking forward to staying local..rather than going to the city....I know - we sound rather sad don't we - but there it is - the fast glitsy life here has worn us out and we crave simple uncommercialised stuff preferably in the country if that makes sense?

I emailed Roy through this forum about the Alhamo place but got no reply - so am I right in thinking that personal emails do not work here?

Still you never know we may yet change our minds and join you guys in Murcia...if we don't hope you have a great night anyways!

Does anyone know if there are any 'local to Corvera' restaurants open on New Year's Eve?  We are flying in for a week after Xmas and staying in our apartment at Corvera....

I have looked at simplynetworking but the majority of restaurants are a bit too far to go ie nearest ones are Murcia or Cartagena...

We would be going there by taxi and back again assuming that taxis run locally on New Year's Eve.

Any tips would be welcome..
