Hola all, does anybody know of a pay as you go mobile broadband provider in Spain, or is it preferable to get one from England?  We were told in England that it was probably best to get it in Spain.  We are coming over again soon and wondered whether to bring my laptop this time.  I know it is probably cheaper to use an internet cafe, but you do have more privacy in your own home.

Our lawyer has recently moved to Marbella.  Can anybody recommend an English speaking lawyer around Rojales, Formentera, Benimar or Benijofar?

Has anybody else heard of this new rule from the Spanish authorities stating that you have to have a non residency certificate?  Apparently you have to either get one from the Spanish Consulate in England or from the Orihuela Costa town hall, which is near La Zenia.  A person from our bank Cajamar, phoned us one evening in England and said this needs to be done by 15th September or our account will be blocked.  We bought off-plan in 2005 and every year since we have signed a document in our solicitors to say we are non-residents.  We have also paid for the first time this year non-residency taxes.  Our lawyer in Spain said it is a new ruling and something the police require,  They are looking into whether they can obtain a certificate for us or whether we have to do it ourselves. Mick & Ann, Block 3.

Hi Everyone

First I will introduce myself my name is Ann and this is the first time I've have used this, so forgive me if I'm not using this right.  Mike and I completed on our apartment in block 3 in May last year.  We have been out three times since then, including spending Christmas, and have enjoyed our time there.  We have some nice neighbours and are pleased with our apartment.

We feel sorry for those people who have had their properties broken into and this has made us put a grill on our front door.  It does give you a little more security.  Although I have been told if someone is determined to get in even that will not stop them.

We were reading a post the other day where somebody mentioned about a permanent washing line area.  That is a very good idea, although we think it would be better to get washing lines installed permanently not the roll away type as these would not be as strong and could need repairing too often.  If we had say a number of lines i.e down one end of block 3, and also block 5 if they wanted to that is, this would leave the main area by the side of the pool clear.  This could be a oneoff payment shared between 3,4 & 5.  Obviously block 4 has the pool on it, so would not have the room but people in this block would be able to use the lines on 3 & 5.  What are your comments?
