Hi Michelle

To drive to the Blue Lagoon, you need to turn right on a bend about a mile short of the Hotel Mariposa, you will be on a gravel track (perfectly ok for a car), follow this road for as far as you can go, (about 2 miles), don't turn off on any of the tracks (BTW the first turning on the right takes you up to a great viewing point over Alhama), you will be driving next to a quick flowing canal, I think you go over a small bridge and keep going and you will come to viewing point for the lake, you can then follow the track down to the lake, you will have to walk the last 100mtrs.

Its stunning

We are coming over in a few weeks to start furnishing our apartment on La Isla and plan buying a lot of the big furnishings from IKEA, does any know from whom we can hire a Transit Van or similar, I would ideally like to pick it from Alicante or Murcia Airport.

I sent 10 emails with no response and then phoned the branch office and got through to a lady who appologised for not getting back to me because they had been too busy!!

Apart from an email two days before completion with a rough breakdown of costs, I didn't receive anything like a mortgage offer as you would expect, they just turned up at the Notary office with the forms for us to sign on completion day.

It all worked out fine in the end, Mortgage in place, bank account in place along with Debit cards.

Glad somebody elase has had the same experience, thought it was me.

The water was on but no electric in fact there were just wires coming out of the ceiling, we filled in forms at the Notary with the Polaris representive giving them authorisation to setup the utilities on our behalf.

We didn't have much time to socialise but did have a few drinks in the Clover, in fact we didn't even go to the site office to ask the questions we wanted to ask such as where are the post boxes as we couldn't find them, and also about Air Conditioning as on the specification document it said that air conditionaing was included, there were blanking plates on the wall but that was all.

We haven't found a key holder yet but will start looking, we also used Snagit Murcia for our snagging and found them very helpful, however the property is in very good condition.
