Hi all

I got a call from P.W. completions department just before Christmas stating habitation certificate will be ready in early January.

We are having serious second thoughts as we really believe TDLT will never be finished and we will be stuck paying a mortgage for an unfinished compex beside a muddy field which was meant to be a golf course.

Loss of the deposit although devestating may be a blessing in disguise in the long term.

We really need to form some sort of group to attempt to fight for either a discount to a nowadays realistic price or some return of deposit. PW are still too big to battle with alone.

Hi Everyone

After the Condado cancelation I moved to TDLT on advice of a Polaris agent. This was almost two years ago now and building has just about started, with an estimated time of hand over for phase 1 of march - april 2009.

How do other similarily placed investors feel about these constant delays?

Has anyone managed to cancell their contract with PW, if so how much of your 40% did you get back?

Has anyone managed to sell a contract to another investor?

Hi

My wife and I have just returned from 3 weeks on the Mar Menor Golf Resort, On our second day we visited the Polaris office to find out when our investment of 40% on a Terrazes penthouse Apt. may be built.

We were shocked to learn the ground clearence at the site has only begun in the last few weeks and a rather unhelpful member of staff  told us the earliest any handovers will be is in January 2009 and that if we didn't like that we could always seek legal advice but they (polaris) would win.

We took a drive  along a muddy farm track and through a still working farm yard to the boundary fence of Terrazes. This place will never be ready by Jan 2009 especialy as other resorts are running around 1 year (at least) late.
