Hello to you all
I am looking for some help and some info around La Reserva II Marbella...
My father in law has paid a deposit for a property and has then fallen foul of there not being any licenses available to actually build the properties, ergo he cannot get a mortgage, vicious circle, viious...
The Spanish lawyers (Marinez Echevarria, are not being overly helpful, apparently they want €6,000 upfront to recover the money, and there is not a guarantee that they will actually recover any money back.
I have spoken with Green Independent, who are in fact now Siddals, but they cannot really help me, they have however tole me that the company that brokered the deal Viva Estates, have gone into administration, they also said that there are a lot of people who have been affected and are in the same situation...So
I am looking for people who are having similar experiences, people who have reached a full or partial conclusion to the situation, or people who can just help. Ideally I guess gtting the deposit back is the preference, but equally I guess getting a license so that getting a mortgage would still be something my parents in law would want to happen.
All, and any help will be very gratefully received.
