Inter striker Samuel Eto'o scored on his official debut for the club, a 2-1 loss to Lazio in the Supercoppa Italiana, but he claims he is settling in well in the city of Milan.
"I'm already happy with how things are going at Inter, even if we're not 100 percent," he told the Corriere dello Sport.
"Already the impression I had playing in the Supercup is that things are very positive. We dominated the match, creating many opportunities."
The 28-year-old then discussed his relationships with new coach Jose Mourinho and strike partner Diego Milito.
"The coach I like a lot, I intend to give my maximum as soon as possible in order to thank him," he continued.
"There was a great feeling and an excellent link-up with Milito. Our understanding is already very good and can only improve."
Eto'o came to the Nerazzurri as part of the deal that sent Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Barcelona - and he admits he would consider going back to the Blaugrana in the future.
"I was always well in Barcelona and one day I may return to play for that great club, but now I am at Inter, where I already feel at ease after just a short period of time," he concluded.
