Desperately trying to rescue Ali, Torre Pacheco, Murcia
Thursday, April 14, 2011 @ 7:52 PM

This galga, who has been named Ali, has been seen wandering around the area of Torre Pacheco, Murcia. There's a rope around her neck so likely she could have been hanged. The rope certainly appears to be very tight & maybe cutting into her flesh.

Tina (& some of her team of volunteers) of the Galgos del Sol refuge http://www.perrosdelsol.es/ have today been out trying to trap Ali in a special cage they use.

They've established where she eats but, as they found a dead dog last night close to where she's feeding, the food put down may have been poisoned.

We hope to have better news later.

Here's Ali, note the rope !

We NEED to get her ASAP!

Please support the Galgos del Sol charity. They do such wonderful work rescuing galgos & finding the right help, foster homes & eventual forever homes.

 6pm

They had her, she was in the trap and would you believe she set the trap plate off with her bum still poking out and managed to back the door open and she escaped....
