Using The Internet

We made the decision to move abroad but most of us have left people behind that we want to keep in close contact with.

The two obvious ways are the telephone and email another way is Skype, now I am sure that most of you are aware of skype but for those that are not.

Lets start with the good bit, It’s free

Computer to computer it’s free, you can text, make an audio or video call absolutely free.

All you need a cheap headset and you can make calls, webcams are only a few Euros and then you can make video calls as well.

I have been using Skype since it first started and have seen massive improvements ok the connection can still be a bit flaky now and then but not often and hey it’s free!
I would not want to be without it and as an example I have had two calls this morning One from Thailand the other from Texas, we certainly could not afford to do that by using the normal telephone.
