So Why Should I Bother To Blog?
Blogging is fun! It allows you to have your say on the Internet without needing
to know anything about building a website or worry about hosting charges.
It's quick, easy and free to create your own web space and talk about whatever you
want, although you should always try to make it interesting to get people to come and read it.
You're not going to become a millionaire with it but you can also earn some extra money through your
blogging. We've built this facility into the Eye on Spain blog but we'll tell
you more about this later.
People blog for different reasons.
- They want to give advice and information to others
- They want to write about a big ongoing change in their lives, such as a move to
Spain
- They want to be part of a community
- They want to make money from it
- They want to build a reputation to grow their business online
- Because they just want to!
You don't really need a reason to blog. You just do it because it's easy and
you will grow your own following online.

In the current world of "The Social Web" it's all about interacting with your customers.
It's no use just creating a website, putting it online and sitting back anymore.
Those days are gone. Customers want to be able to interact with the people
they're buying from first. It instills confidence and is shown to increase
average customer spend.
Remember, people buy from people, not businesses.
