Does anyone know of any price comparisons (Estepona area)? We've just been quoted the following and don't know if it's good bad or middling. Our property will only get occasional use so just needs a regular visit/airing and loo flushing. . I've used my bank's "foreign department" (phone them, not the hight street!) and Moneycorp successfully and efficiently. Both are keen to get the business and it sometimes pays to say "I've been offered x rate". You also need to compare the cost of the transfer as this can be £15, £20, £25 with different businesses. Don't forget to build in the time it will take to get your money to the bank or broker!

I was disturbed to read below that the developer can demand you complete without the certificate of first habitation. Is that really true? I don't want to buy a house without official water, electricity, phone etc.
