We’re looking to retire to Spain and are somewhat concerned after reading stories about UK citizens being lured into commercial relationships with lawyers of questionable reputation, like this story about Danny Sawrij (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/comment/citydiary/5770605/Are-you-being-served-With-prizes-vouchers-and-one-liners.html). We want to avoid being stuck in the same trap. Does anyone have any advice as to how to choose a reputable lawyer to help with property transactions?
