5 months is an awfully long time to spend on the runway!

But seriously.....the Almeria region (in particular)  is being strangled by the withdrawal of the budget airline services, especially those that fly from the Northern regional airports.

The Spanish government needs to intervene if they wish for the area to continue improving..........otherwise, all the investment that has been forthcoming in recent years will have been for nothing!

Hi Nuflow,

As we live full-time on Thalassa we made buying a car our priority.

We purchased our car through the Volkswagen dealership in Vera and, although it was a newly-registered car we did look at the selection of "used" vehicles on offer.

We were surprised at the selection on offer and the prices,  so maybe( as this garage is a major dealership) you may be able to do a good deal?,,,,,,if  not, the  Skoda dealership is just across the road!

Failing that....there is Costa Coches on the Antas Industrial Estate who do offer a good selection of used cars.

Thank you for your advice OzzieChick it is greatly appreciated.

Do you have to be fluent in Spanish (I know it would be preferable if the child only speaks Spanish) or do any other languages apply?

I know communication is key in all circumstances and walks of life....but the hand of friendship speaks volumes.

I don't want to do this to score "upward bound" brownie points.......just want to give something back for all the good things that have come my way.........

It never hurts anyone to give a little back!
