Hi All,
Well after completing on Porto fino in November I finally got to lie at the pool yesterday. Picked up some beds in Copa and was all set. Needless to say myself and my friend were the only 2 there. We lay at the Block 7 side of the pool which gives a lovely view to the marina and on to the sea. Paul the caretaker was busy watering the new plants that have been put in around the pool area, and some lovely benches too.
I eventually built up the courage to have a dip. Water was bloody freezin but felt it was like a Baptisming ceremony..ha I lay there for hours with my mp3 player playing my favourite music in my ears and just thought all the problems I had with trying to complete were a million miles away. To be able to walk from the pool to the marina in under a minute and be sitting at the marina with a cafe con leche watchin the young spanish kids feeding the ducks, was so special. It got cool in the evening so was time to hit the apartment turn on the heat and watch emmerdale with a nice cup of tea..ha I hope you get the picture.
I'm thrilled with my apartment and portofino. Even the entrances with beautiful high quality marble flooring, big mirrors, lovely post boxes, I can promise anyone who hasn't visited, there has been nothing spared here.There seems to be cleaners around everyday, cleaning windows, corridors etc... even though I've only seen a handfull of people. And for the golfers the new clubhouse is been built across the road, talk about heaven.
Suppose I'm trying to say, all seemed lost for me but I dug in because I had a good feeling about Portofino and Almerimar. I left today to return to Ireland with a small tear in my eye, but I'll be back as soon as I can.
I hope this gives a little bit of encouragement to anyone who is having difficulty in completing.
Dig in there I promise it is so worth it.
