Hi,

I had 'Free to Air' installed in the Fuengirola area last Autumn for a once-off payment which gives all the BBC & ITV (TV and Radio) stations (including all the various regional stations of each). Also available are Irish radio stations but not TV stations. The satellite box was supplied by the installer but are also available in any of the local electrical stores at a very reasonable price. I believe the dish was already installed on the roof of the complex - so it was just a matter of connecting to that. Signals are from the Astra satellite.

Hi, I would highly recommend "Beasol" Restaurant, No. 1 Calle Malaga, Fuengirola (Tel: 952469743). It's down towards the Castle end of Fuengirola but well worth the visit. I have used it on numerous occasions over the last few years. They do a 3-course fixed price meal (with home made desserts). It's family run and have excellent English. As per previous posting I also highly recommend Don Pe in Fish Alley in Fuengirola and Los Enebros in Los Boliches. There are another couple of restaurants in Fish Alley that I could recommend but unfortunately I know where they are and walk straight to them but just cannot remember their names at this time. Thanks Crackers, I have used the train regularly from Fuengirola to Malaga while I am over there. I have just checked the timetable . . . the stop before the Airport is San Julian (but most trains do not stop at this station) . . . so it's most likely Plaza Mayor (where the Multiplex Cinema plus others is situated. Still, it will be a lot easier to access than travelling to Seville. Thanks again.

Does anyone have precise details as to where Ikea is situated in Malaga. My Ikea Spain website not working very well. Is it anywhere near where the train station from Funergirola arrives or near El Corte Ingles main store in the centre of Malaga?
