Alteration Castral letter

I have got a letter from SUMA, Gestion Tributaria, Diputation de Alicante.
In the middle of the page is a headline: DOCUMENTO DE ALTERATION CASTRAL DE BIENES INMUEBLES URBANOS.
I have tried to translate it . I have visided our Tourist/Foreingners office. They sent me to Ayuntamiento. The say come back Thuesday.
Can anyone tell what this is about or give a hint to a thread regarding this.

Sounds like they have revised the Catastral value of your property on which the local taxes are based. Presumably the valuation is upwards....which will mean an increase in taxes. These revisions occur every 5/10 years or so, I believe. The Town Hall should be able to explain.

But we have not got habitation cert. yet. Escritura was filed Aug 1 st 2007.
But tomorrow I will find out:
