Horse riding

I am taking my grand children to La Manga in June.

Does anyone have any info on horse riding in the area?

They are 8 and 10 and have no riding experience but are keen to learn.

I believe there are two horse riding stables close to La Manga Club. Rancho de la Fuenta is located just out side the local town of Los Belones and has a great selection of about 70 horses to suit all levels of horse riding ability.

If you visit the horse riding stables and chat to the staff they will let you know what horse riding activities are scheduled during your holiday. This will also give you a chance to discuss levels of horse riding ability and to see and meet the horses

Usually there are beach hacks and mountain horse riding hacks available on a group basis on most days and you can also arrange private horse riding lessons. Both of the horse riding stables are located within the Calblanque National Park.
