TORRESAT................scrambled....

As from Monday 1st December 2008 Torresat and teleast will start scrambling thier signal according to the info channel.

Sooooooooooo....anyone with a redirected aerial or using a rebroadcaster ( you know, the ones who popped up from nowhere and charged 250€ fo give you tele ) will be b******* !!!

Where did you get the information that torresat are scrambling all their channels, They may have legal problems wth scrambling free to veiw channels and then charging their clients to view them. 

Dont think they will be able to switch to scrambled service by 1 st december they have to change all thier existing customers over to new box decoders and new dishes plus the labour element of it all .They are also really struggling to get fitters as well,there is also the question of if they even have the funds to finance such an undertaking in such a short time span. Lets hope it stays on till after Xmas at least .

The information was on Torresat's own info channel on the TV.

Apparently someone phoned them to verify this info and they were told that this would indeed be happening because soooooo many people were stealing thier signal BUT it would be a little delayed because they did not have enough cards at this present time.
