Our internet business is registered in the UK.  We have a house there which we are renting when we move to Spain permanently in January.  Can we continue to pay tax in the UK, or must we pay tax in Spain?  Even our fiscal representative from a large form of lawyers could not tell us!  Has anybody out there got any suggestions, please?!  Thank you,  Donna

When you have a property in any country, even if you are resident in other place, the taxes have to be paid in the country where the property are.

Thank you, but the problem is that we have two properties, one in the UK (rented) and one in Spain where we are living.  Donna

If you live in Spain for 183 days per year or more, your taxes are due in your country of residence, likewise, if you live in England for 183 days per year, you pay your taxes there.

That is true, but for your fiscal residence. Where you have you fiscal residence you have to make your tax return for all the income you have anywhere. But if you live in Spain, for example, your main address in Spain must be declare here and the one in England there for the income you get rented. This taxes made in England you could deducted in the next tax return in Spain.
