Hi
I am an entertainer planning a new life on mainland Spain and would appreciate any advice on areas with bars catering for the tourists.
I am a proffesional scottish country singer playing Wembley Country Music Festival having toured Europe with Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette, Brenda Lee and many more. I have recently been busy doing a 5 year stint in Tenerife in an Irish bar singing country, irish, 60's, 70's and also some karaoke if and when requested.
Came back to Scotland for a period and have hated the weather - need the sunshine! ha ha
Anyone with any suggestions or contacts a private message would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I moved to Costa Del SOl 7 years ago and worked as an entertainer for the summer of 2001, loads of work working every night but in winter it dries up, went up to benidorm and there was more winter work there .
During the winter time its a big struggle, with the weak pound there are less tourists............
I am currently working for a English newspaper in Spain its a steady job and work in the winter doesnt dry up.
Good luck with whatever you do..
