Insuring a Spanish Caravan

Hi!

 We intend to buy a new Spanish Caravan ( we live here and have a Spanish registered car ) Can anyone recommend a good insurer and a guide price for a van with purchase price of 16,500 euros that would cover the awning and accessories?

I assume you've enquired of your car's insurers ?  

Whereabouts are you in Spain ? I have details of insurers in my area that may, or may not ,insure caravans.

We used to have touring caravans, it's a great life.

We have, he is "looking into it" but thought it'd be a good idea to get several quotes, just in case!

We're near Mazarron, and have had a caravan before when we were UK based, and have previously toured France, but have done Spain in a tent a couple of times! We want to explore throughout Europe, and cant wait to get back into it - but insuring it doesnt seem as straightforward over here!! 

You could try these near us, though they may not insure caravans. All insure everything else it seems.I've looked on their websites & there's no provision for caravans but it doesn't mean they don't.
