Could anyone give us directions to the Roman Baths from Estepona. The directions on maps seem pretty vague.

This is what really gets me about Manilva. The people in charge have for so long been trying to siphon money out of construction companies that they have neglected some of the aspects of the town which really made it appealing.
Anyway, rant over...
From Estepona head towards Sabinillas.
Just before Sabinillas is a roundabout. You need to go right here, it leads to the Sunday Market/ recinto ferial. Also, the ADH offices are on the corner here.
Stay on this road for a couple of minutes and eventually you will see the "Roman Oasis" restaurant on the right. Just after this is a dirt track....the Roman Baths are up there.
You should be ok finding it although there are no signs pointing to it that i can remember.
Justin

Thanks for the directions we managed to find the site. Although the powers that be seem to not to want anyone to find it , with no signs whatsoever. The only thing we saw to indicate it was a place of interest was a line waste bins. The site itself is interesting and to our surprise people were having a dip in the waters, we were greeted by a naked seventy something,Scandinavian hauling himself out of the baths, a sight to behold! Some sort of diagrams or boards explaining the features of the site would help.

This Baths was shown on Kevins Capers a series on Real estate TV where he made exactly the same comment about being hidden but at least he had the decency to where his trunks when he plunged into the sulpherous waters!

I went to the Roman Baths once with a friend who is actually born and bred from Estepona who didn't even know that they existed before I told her. That's how much a feature they are. It's a waste really as they could really make something of it. On the other hand, it's quite nice that they are kept a bit secret.
