hi everybody trying to find best route to use for driving down to murcia from Newcastle Upon Tyne. Also best ferry operator to use and rough idea how long it will take?.

I can't help you personally, but put the route to Murcia into the RAC route planner. It takes you to Dover, then Calais, past Paris, Valencia. total distance is 1547.46 miles and it says the estimated time is 28 hours and 18 minutes. Good luck .

Have you tried using Google maps as well, you can also use this to plan a journey. 

I used it to plan routes within Spain and the directions were very good.   Note that the estimated times are based on the speed limit.......Which we all definately drive at all of the time!!!
