Visit La Medina de Banus

Oh what heaven - lunchtime Menu del Dia - three courses and a drink (of anything) for 8 Euros (plus bread). Starters are a variety of salads (good size and very fresh) although there might be a soup too, main courses including Pork Loin fillets and Sirloin steak veg and chips (and not the shoe sole variety steak and good size and very tasty), plus dessert (Tiramisu for me which was a bit supermarket shrink wrapped but certainly edible. They also do an evening one for 14€. Reasonably pleasant area but you wouldnt go there for a special occasion - for a great value lunch that doesnt break the bank its the dogs!!! Meal for two including coffee 19 Euros!!!!!

Is it to the east or west of San Pedro?

To the North and east of San pedro.

Go up the Ronda Road from the coast road to the first set of lights. Turn right follow the road where it bears to the left and past the school - turn right acrosss the river and then left at the small roundabout. Ypu shopuld be heading towards Campana now and should be a couple of white aparment blocks in front of you. Another roundabout turn right and you are heading along the main road through Campana towards N Andalucia follow the road over the speed bumps and up the hill to the roundabout at the top - turn left here and Chateaubriand is on your left up the steps
